For those of you that haven’t experienced a Sixertown performance then you don’t know what you’re missing! What is Sixertown, you ask? Well, Sixertown is the exclusive Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers Fan Club. The best part of a Sixertown membership is that you get to experience a private 2-song acoustic performance before any Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers shows that you are attending. I attended my 1st Sixertown performance on March 10, 2012 at the 8×10 in Baltimore, Maryland where I was whisked backstage and upstairs into the SK6ERS small dressing room for an amazingly sweet intimate acoustic performance. If you would like to check out details on Sixertown you can click on the link below and you will be taken to the SK6ERS online store where you can get further information on Sixertown and purchase your membership.
SK6ERS Field Day Weekend 2012 wrapped up today with a brunch for Sixertown members with the band at the Westin in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. I was just expecting some donuts, coffee and a bunch of Thank You’s & Goodbyes. Well, to my surprise it was much more. As I chugged down my coffee I was informed that the band would be performing a couple of songs for us in a bit and to think about what songs we wanted to hear. A die-hard & longterm SK6ERS-head went around the room with a paper plate to write down and tally up the song choices. I was lucky enough to find that paper plate sitting on a table after the performance was over and had Stephen Kellogg autograph it for me. Much to my wife’s displeasure this plate has been nailed to and hanging on my wall. 🙂
So after the votes were tallied, the band gathered up their acoustic instruments to start what would be the highlight of my and many Sixertown members day. Good music, good laughs, good times and the end of a GREAT weekend!! See you later, See you soon!!
Below are the videos that I shot of this Sixertown performance in the order that they were played.
